Almond Chia Seeds Breakfast Smoothie

Breakfast smoothie, this smoothie is quite enough to fill some hungry tummy easily with less efforts. Actually am not a breakfast person earlier, i usually skip them but now am very much strict towards me to have atleast a slice of bread with a cup of coffee or tea before leaving. And this works,am skipping that mid morning snacking habits which helps a lot for not skipping my lunch. Yes i love snacking and now having breakfast in morning is literally keeping me away from it. If i dont feel like having a bread slice, i will whisk some smoothie to fill my tummy. And this works even for my kids. Obviously i do prepare varieties of smoothies early in the morning to finish our breakfast in time.One of my recent trial with breakfast smoothie is this Almonds, chia seeds smoothie.

Trust me this smoothie is quite a nourishing drink which fills some hungry tummies easily with less efforts. This breakfast smoothie calls for some raw almonds, almond milk, frozen berries, flax seeds, oats and chia seeds. Easy to prepare, this smoothie is quite an interesting drink to prepare to please anyone at home. We enjoyed this smoothie thoroughly with our usual grilled buttered bread slices. Quite a filling smoothie to give a try if you have picky eaters at home.One of the recent event am joining with an immense pleasure is A-Z Recipe Challenge. This challenge group comes with a new concept, yes we are going to cook with two different themes. For this month's challenge, we are cooking a dish name starts with 'A' and next month's theme is going to be Recipe swap, and vice versa. Since i like challenges, i couldnt stop myself to join this group. Hence am here with my Almond Chia Seeds smoothie for this month's challenge, if you want to join in this group do let me know.

Almond Chia seeds Breakfast Smoothie

2cups Almond milk
10 Almonds (blanched)
2tbsp Chia seeds
3tbsp Rolled oats
1/2tsp Flax seeds
1/4cup Frozen mixed berries
Maple Syrup (as per need)

Take the almonds, chia seeds, flax seeds, frozen mixed berries in a blender.

Now add the almond milk,maple syrup and blend everything as smoothie.

Serve immediately.

Enjoy this breakfast smoothie!!

With Scorching summers here, I am only having milkshakes or smoothies for breakfast as cooking regular breakfast is getting next to impossible. This one is really good with the almond milk, very nutritious post a workout too. Great share for the theme.
