Vegetable Manchurian Balls In Hot N Sour Sauce

I love vegetable manchurian balls...i prepared them at home with great choices of  fresh vegetables with corn flour n a bowl of cooked rice in hot n sour gravy..they turned awesome..they came out as i had them in restaurants..making them as any sorts of gravy depends upon as ur wish, some may like them in sweet n sour sauce, some as hot sauce..my choice of sauce is hot n sour...the recipe starts like this...

For Vegetarian Manchurian Balls:
1cup Mixed Vegetable grated (carrot, capsicum, cabbage)
 1/4cup Spring onion chopped
  5nos Garlic pods crushed
  1tsp Ginger crushed
  2tsp Soya sauce
1tsp Green chilly chopped r chilli sauce
  1cup Cooked rice
  1/4cup Corn flour

For Hot n Sour Sauce:
  1/2cup Onion chopped
  5nos Garlic pods chopped
  2tbsp Soya sauce
  1tbsp Chilli sauce
  2tsp Sesame oil
  1tsp Redchilly flakes
  1tsp White vinegar
  1/2tsp Sugar
  2tbsp Corn flour
  1/4tsp Ajinamoto
  2stalks Garlic chives
Salt
Oil of deep frying

Heat water in a pan...once the water starts boiling add the grated vegetables n cook just few minutes, they shouldnt get well cooked.. dont cook them for a long..drain them in a colander, keep the cooked water aside, they will be perfect to prepare the sauce..

Take a large bowl, add the cooked vegetable, spring onions, ginger crushed, garlic crushed, green chilly pieces r green chilli sauce, cooked rice, soyasauce, salt n corn flour...smash everything well with ur fingers n mix everything well...make small balls from the mixture...heat the oil n fry them well until they get cooked well..

Now heat the sesame oil in a kadai, add the chopped onion, garlic n ginger pieces n fry them for a while, onions should  be a bit tender..add the soyasauce, green chilly sauce, white vinegar, ajinamoto, sugar n salt as per ur taste( be alert as we r using soyasauce, check before adding the salt), cook them for a while.

Add the cooked water to the kadai n bring them to boil..now add the fried vegetable manchurian balls to the kadai, cook in simmer for a while..meanwhile make a thin batter with corn flour n water, keep aside.

Once the gravy starts boiling just add the cornflour batter to the gravy n cook until the gravy turns thicker..chop the garlic chives .. garnish the sauce with the chopped garlic chives..

Can garnish very well with spring onions also..i used cooked rice to bind well the vegetables for making them as balls, can also use egg..
